Apply for a SRRV!

The Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV) is a special non-immigrant visa which entitles foreign nationals to reside in the Phillipines indefinitely with multiple entry privileges and benefits which included the following:

  • Exemption from Customs Duties and Taxes for the importation of personal effects up to USD 7,000.00 which must be availed of within 90 days upon issuance of SRRVisa.
  • Exemption from paying the Travel Tax, if stay in the Philippines is not longer than one year from the last entry date.
  • Exemption from securing the Bureau of Immigration Exit Clearances and Re-entry Permits.
  • Exemption from securing the Bureau of Immigration annual report requirement for aliens
  • Exemption from securing Special Study Permit or Student’s Visa for dependents who wants to study

  • For active/healthy foreign nationals
  • Visa deposit: USD 20,000.
    * Deposit in bank earns interest and can be withdrawn or remain in bank to accumulate earnings.

SRRV Classic

  • For active/healthy foreign nationals
  • 50 years old and above (might be allowed lower to 50 years old)
  • Visa deposit: USD 10,000 (with pension) USD 20,000 (without pension).
  • Visa deposit: USD 50,000
    * Visa deposit may be converted to active investment.

  • For foreign nationals, 50 years old and above  (might be allowed lower to 50 years old) who are retired military officers or are included in the list stated in PRA Circular No. 12 Series of 2013 (http://bit.ly/PRACircular)
  • For former Filipinos naturalized in foreign country
  • Visa deposit: USD 1,500

  • For foreign national, with pre-existing healthy/medical conditions and with health/medical insurance acceptable in the Philippines.
  • Receiving monthly pension.
  • Visa deposit: USD 10,000
